My partner, the Hungarian Branch of the Japanese Yamazaki MAZAK is looking for a

FINANCIAL BRANCH MANAGER

The ideal candidate’s tasks will be as follows:
Accounting: Performs general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to solve usual and unusual issues, transaction processing.

The Accounting duties comprise namely of:
General Ledger Accountancy
Small Assets and Fixed Assets Agenda
Bank payments including preparation of payment orders
Bank statements – bookkeeping, a daily evidence and reconciliation of received customer´ s payments
Accounts Payable agenda (registration of the invoices, invoice booking, A/C Payable reconciliation etc.)
Accounts Receivable agenda (booking of the issued invoices, communication with the customers, requests for the payments on overdue A/R)
Travel Expenses agenda, Petty cash agenda
Data processing for Intrastat, VAT, Cash Flow report

Existing accounting team and the structure of the Branch office in Hungary: internal accounting department- has supporting functions for documents processing, the accounting and tax agenda are outsourced by TMF Hungary.

Internal controls and compliance: Ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Drive implementation of best practices and continuous optimization of accounting processes to gain efficiencies and drive productivity gains.

Monthly closing:
To process the month end closing including accounts reconciliation

Reporting:
Ensures in cooperation with TMF financial reporting management in accordance with defined quality standards and required business/financial system closing schedules. Ensures timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of reporting packages and associated disclosures.

Basic Financial analysis:
Coordinate preparation and monthly comparison vs. budget. Provides reliable and timely analysis of the actual financial results, budget and forecasts in order to support local management.

Assistance by Statutory Audit and cooperation on CIT preparation with the tax advisors.

The Employee shall also fulfil other tasks concerning the accounting department which shall be instructed by Branch Manager YMCE Branch Office Hungary or Finance and HR Manager YMCE (Region Central Europe).

Requirements to the candidate:
Economic Education (University or certified accountant ACCA)
Experience at chief accountant position at least 5 years (double entry accounting)
Knowledge of the Hungarian GAAP, local tax system
The experience with the leadership of small team advantage
Experience with corporate reporting advantage

Hungarian Branch of Yamazaki Mazak Central Europe s.r.o – Sóskút Ipari Park

Reporting to:
Branch Manager YMCE Hungary and Finance and HR Manager YMCE (Region Central Europe)

Financial Branch Manager is responsible for accurate, timely preparation of accounting documents in compliance with local accounting and tax legislation and internal accounting regulation of the Yamazaki Mazak Central Europe. The Employee should actively participate in the performance of the duties in Accounting Department.
